Kentucky High School Basketball - Carroll County topples Bourbon County
January 27, 2024: Paris, KY 40361 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Carroll County Panthers (Carrollton, KY) basketball squad beat the host Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY), by a margin of 52-42.
The Panthers (7-10) will now prepare for their outing against Owen County (Owenton, KY). The Rebels go into the District 31 outing with a 12-8 record. In their last outing, Owen County defeated Trimble County (Bedford, KY), 78-57, in a league outing.
The Colonels now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Mason County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 30. Bourbon County will clash with a Royals squad coming off a 63-58 non-league win over Holy Cross (Covington, KY). The Royals record now stands at 12-8.
