Massachusetts High School Basketball - Brockton knocked off by Lawrence
January 27, 2024: Lawrence, MA 01841 The Lawrence Lancers basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Brockton Boxers to 56 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lancers now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lowell for a Merrimack Valley - Large contest on Tuesday, January 30. Lawrence will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 61-56 league loss to Central Catholic (Lawrence, MA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 9-3.
The Boxers (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Dartmouth (South Dartmouth, MA). The Indians enter the South East contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Dartmouth was defeated by Apponequet Regional (Lakeville, MA), 73-56, in a non-league contest.
