January 27, 2024: West Caldwell, NJ 07006 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Newark Collegiate Academy Panthers (Newark, NJ) and the host Caldwell Chiefs (West Caldwell, NJ), saw Newark Collegiate Academy's basketball squad knock off Caldwell by a tally of 51-38.
With the victory, Newark Collegiate Academy improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Millburn (Millburn, NJ) to play the Millers in a Super Essex - Colonial challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Millers come into the challenge with a record of 13-4. Millburn lost 67-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Arts (Newark, NJ)
Next up, the Chiefs play the Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Caldwell will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Bengals come into the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 76-51 league loss to Newark Tech (Newark, NJ).
