Indiana High School Basketball - Cathedral tops Varsity Opponent
January 27, 2024: Indianapolis, IN 46226 Cathedral Fighting Irish (Indianapolis, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), 91-73 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Cathedral upgrades its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Fighting Irish travel to Kokomo (Kokomo, IN) to play the Wildkats in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Wildkats come into the bout with a record of 16-3. Kokomo won 72-35 in their recent non-league bout against Lewis Cass (Walton, IN)
Next up, the play the Christian Academy of Madison Defenders (Madison, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Varsity Opponent will attempt to upgrade on its 315-1197 season record. The Defenders come into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 76-58 non-league loss to Columbus HomeSchool (Columbus, IN).
