Missouri High School Basketball - Central ripped by Vashon
January 27, 2024: St. Louis, MO 63106 The Vashon Wolverines basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Central Tigers to 50 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wolverines now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt/Carnahan for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. Vashon will battle a team coming off a 74-26 non-league loss to Miller Career Academy (St. Louis, MO). The record now stands at 2-2.
The Tigers (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Brothers (St. Louis, MO). The Cadets enter the non-league contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Christian Brothers was routed by East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL), 71-70, in a non-league contest.
