January 27, 2024: Peotone, IL 60468 The Peotone Blue Devils (Peotone, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Chicago Christian Knights (Palos Heights, IL), 58-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils (7-14) will now prepare for their test against Streator (Streator, IL). The Bulldogs go into the Illinois Central 8 test with a 19-5 record. In their last test, Streator went down by Washington (Washington, IL), 49-47, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 7-15 record. They play next when they host Christ the King for a Chicagoland Christian test on Wednesday, January 31. Chicago Christian will encounter a Gladiators squad coming off a 63-36 league win over St. Edward (Elgin, IL). The Gladiators record now stands at 21-4.
