Illinois High School Basketball - Webber overwhelms Cobden
January 27, 2024: Bluford, IL 62814 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Webber Trojans (Bluford, IL) and the visiting Cobden Appleknockers (Cobden, IL), saw Webber's basketball squad wallop Cobden by a tally of 65-27.
With the victory, Webber improves its record to 20-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Elverado (Elkville, IL) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 11-11.
Next up, the Appleknockers confront the Agape Christian Knights (Energy, IL) in a South Egyptian challenge, on Monday, January 29. Cobden will attempt to improve on its 13-12 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 8-18 record after their 48-32 non-league loss to Westfair Christian (Jacksonville, IL).
