Indiana High School Basketball - Concord nips Laporte
January 27, 2024: Elkhart, IN 46517 Concord Minutemen (Elkhart, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Laporte Wildcats (Laporte, MN), 56-50 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Concord upgrades its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Minutemen host NorthWood (Nappanee, IN) to play the Panthers in a Northern Lakes bout on Thursday, February 1. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 11-5. NorthWood lost 35-34 in their recent league bout against Warsaw (Warsaw, IN)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Blackduck Drakes (Blackduck, MN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Laporte will attempt to upgrade on its 7-20 season record. The Drakes come into the bout with a 3-11 record after their 89-45 league loss to Cass Lake-Bena (Cass Lake, MN).
