January 27, 2024: Elk Point, SD 57025 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD) basketball squad felled the visiting Sisseton Redmen (Sisseton, SD), by a margin of 62-47.
The Huskies (5-9) will now prepare for their outing against Lennox (Lennox, SD). The Orioles go into the A Region 4 outing with a 8-3 record. In their last outing, Lennox thwarted Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD), 76-49, in a non-league outing.
The Redmen now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Britton-Hecla for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 30. Sisseton will clash with a Braves squad coming off a 44-40 non-league win over Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] (Rosholt, SD). The Braves record now stands at 2-12.
