January 27, 2024: Sidney, OH 45365 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Riverside Pirates (De Graff, OH) basketball squad nipped the host Fairlawn Jets (Sidney, OH), by a margin of 64-60.
The Pirates (7-8) will now prepare for their outing against Lehman Catholic (Sidney, OH). The Cavaliers go into the Three Rivers outing with a 12-4 record. In their last outing, Lehman Catholic got by Bethel (Tipp City, OH), 45-32, in a league outing.
The Jets now own a 2-15 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Loramie for a Shelby County outing on Friday, February 2. Fairlawn will clash with a Redskins squad coming off a 45-26 non-league win over Dayton Christian (Miamisburg, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 4-12.
