New York High School Basketball - Potsdam holds off General Brown
January 27, 2024: Dexter, NY 13634 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Potsdam Sandstoners (Potsdam, NY) and the host General Brown Lions (Dexter, NY), saw Potsdam's basketball squad hold off General Brown by a tally of 60-54.
With the victory, Potsdam improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Sandstoners travel to Salmon River (Fort Covington, NY) to confront the Shamrocks in a Section 10 Central challenge on Monday, January 29. The Shamrocks come into the challenge with a record of 0-8. Salmon River lost 74-35 in their recent league challenge against Massena (Massena, NY)
Next up, the Lions confront the Indian River Warriors (Philadelphia, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. General Brown will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 77-48 league loss to Carthage (Carthage, NY).
