Simon Gratz Bulldogs (Philadelphia, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Glasgow Dragons (Newark, DE), 71-66 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Simon Gratz upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Central (Philadelphia, PA) to clash with the Lancers in a Philadelphia Public - Liberty bout on Monday, January 29. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 6-14. Central lost 67-44 in their recent non-league bout against Abraham Lincoln (Philadelphia, PA)

Next up, the Dragons clash with the Brandywine Bulldogs (Wilmington, DE) in a Blue Hen Flight - B bout, on Monday, January 29. Glasgow will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 70-64 league win over Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE).
