California High School Basketball - Hollywood tops South Gate
January 27, 2024: Los Angeles, CA 90028 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hollywood Sheiks (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA), saw Hollywood's basketball squad knock off South Gate by a tally of 61-47.
With the victory, Hollywood improves its record to 11-11 on the campaign. The Sheiks host Robert F. Kennedy Community (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Bobcats in a Central challenge on Monday, January 29. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Robert F. Kennedy Community lost 71-32 in their recent league challenge against Bernstein (Hollywood, CA)
Next up, the Rams play the Roosevelt Rough Riders (Los Angeles, CA) in a Eastern challenge, on Monday, January 29. South Gate will attempt to improve on its 8-16 season record. The Rough Riders come into the challenge with a 15-10 record after their 56-51 non-league loss to Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA).
