Ohio High School Basketball - Horizon Science Academy overwhelmed by Independence
January 27, 2024: Cleveland, OH 44103 The Independence Blue Devils basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the host Horizon Science Academy Dragons to 49 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Saturday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wickliffe for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Independence will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 69-61 league win over Cardinal (Middlefield, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-10.
The Dragons (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Horizon Science Academy (Lorain, OH). The come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Horizon Science Academy triumphed over Northeast Ohio College Prep (Cleveland, OH), 46-35, in a league contest.
