West Virginia High School Basketball - Williamstown crushes John Marshall
January 27, 2024: Williamstown, WV 26187 Williamstown Yellowjackets (Williamstown, WV) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV), 72-32 in a league bout.
With the victory, Williamstown upgrades its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host St. Marys (St. Marys, WV) to play the Blue Devils in a Little Kanawha - West bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 5-10. St. Marys lost 67-28 in their recent non-league bout against Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV)
Next up, the Monarchs play the Weir Red Riders (Weirton, WV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. John Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Red Riders come into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 70-43 non-league win over Madonna (Weirton, WV).
