Ohio High School Basketball - La Lumiere crushes Maumee Valley Country Day
January 27, 2024: Toledo, OH 43614 La Lumiere Lakers (La Porte, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Maumee Valley Country Day Hawks (Toledo, OH), 81-39 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, La Lumiere upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Montverde Academy (Montverde, FL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 23-0. Montverde Academy won 78-72 in their recent non-league bout against Prolific Prep of Napa Christian (Napa, CA)
Next up, the Hawks play the Hilltop Cadets (West Unity, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Maumee Valley Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Cadets come into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 52-31 non-league loss to Tinora (Defiance, OH).
