January 27, 2024: Somers, CT 06071 The Somers Spartans (Somers, CT) basketball crushed the visiting Wamogo Warriors (Litchfield, CT), 58-37 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Wamogo Regional (Litchfield, CT). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Wamogo Regional walloped Gilbert (Winsted, CT), 81-40, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Housatonic-Wamogo for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 30. Wamogo will encounter a Mountaineers squad coming off a 89-42 non-league win over Gilbert (Winsted, CT). The Mountaineers record now stands at 2-12.
