January 27, 2024: Woodside, DE 19980 In Saturday's non-league outing, the William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE) basketball squad beat the host Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE), by a margin of 49-35.
The Colonials (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Odessa (Townsend, DE). The Ducks go into the non-league outing with a 10-1 record. In their last outing, Odessa was beaten by St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE), 48-45, in a league outing.
The Panthers now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Caesar Rodney for a Henlopen - Northern outing on Tuesday, January 30. Polytech will clash with a Riders squad coming off a 64-49 non-league loss to Milford (Milford, DE). The Riders record now stands at 6-7.
