Seaford Bluejays (Seaford, DE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Wilmington Friends Quakers (Wilmington, DE), 53-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Seaford upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Lake Forest (Felton, DE) to clash with the Spartans in a Henlopen - Southern bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 12-0. Lake Forest won 69-38 in their recent league bout against Indian River (Dagsboro, DE)

Next up, the Quakers clash with the DuPont Tigers (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Wilmington Friends will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 78-17 league loss to Howard (Wilmington, DE).
