Iowa High School Basketball - Sioux City East fells Waukee
January 27, 2024: Waukee, IA 50263 Sioux City East Black Raiders (Sioux City, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Waukee Warriors (Waukee, IA), 68-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sioux City East upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Black Raiders travel to Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Sergeant Bluff, IA) to play the Warriors in a Missouri River bout on Monday, January 29. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Sergeant Bluff-Luton lost 47-43 in their recent league bout against Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA)
Next up, the Warriors play the Indianola Indians (Indianola, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Waukee will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 70-43 league loss to Pella (Pella, IA).
