Ohio High School Basketball - St. Henry tops Wapakoneta
January 27, 2024: St. Henry, OH 45883 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Henry Redskins (St. Henry, OH) and the visiting Wapakoneta Redskins (Wapakoneta, OH), saw St. Henry's basketball squad knock off Wapakoneta by a count of 57-40.
With the victory, St. Henry upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Fort Recovery (Fort Recovery, OH) to play the Indians in a Midwest challenge on Friday, February 2. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Fort Recovery won 74-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Mississinawa Valley (Union City, OH)
Next up, the Redskins play the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds (Lima, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Wapakoneta will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a 13-2 record after their 55-40 non-league win over Celina (Celina, OH).
