Missouri High School Basketball - University City topped by Staley
January 27, 2024: St. Louis, MO 63130 The Staley Falcons basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host University City Lions to 41 in the Falcons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Falcons now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lee's Summit West for a Freelance contest on Tuesday, January 30. Staley will battle a Titans team coming off a 67-47 league win over Lee's Summit North (Lee's Summit, MO). The Titans record now stands at 12-3.
The Lions (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Dominic (O'Fallon, MO). The Crusaders come into the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, St. Dominic prevailed over Priory (St. Louis, MO), 66-54, in a non-league contest.
