Illinois High School Basketball - Breese Central fells Teutopolis
January 27, 2024: Teutopolis, IL 62467 Breese Central Cougars (Breese, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Teutopolis Wooden Shoes (Teutopolis, IL), 47-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Breese Central upgrades its record to 23-3 on the season. The Cougars host East Alton-Wood River (Wood River, IL) to clash with the Oilers in a Cahokia - Mississippi bout on Monday, January 29. The Oilers go into the bout with a record of 12-12. East Alton-Wood River won 54-23 in their recent non-league bout against North Greene (White Hall, IL)
Next up, the Wooden Shoes clash with the Mater Dei Knights (Breese, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Teutopolis will attempt to upgrade on its 17-9 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 19-6 record after their 54-49 non-league loss to Nashville (Nashville, IL).
