Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Delone Catholic trounces New Oxford
January 27, 2024: McSherrystown, PA 17344 The Delone Catholic Squires (McSherrystown, PA) basketball crushed the visiting New Oxford Colonials (New Oxford, PA), 47-16 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Squires (17-1) will now prepare for their test against Bermudian Springs (York Springs, PA). The Eagles go into the York-Adams 4 test with a 12-6 record. In their last test, Bermudian Springs walloped Hanover (Hanover, PA), 52-18, in a league test.
The Colonials now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they host Dallastown for a York-Adams 1 test on Tuesday, January 30. New Oxford will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 48-27 league win over Spring Grove (Spring Grove, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-0.
