Missouri High School Basketball - Forsyth topped by Licking
January 27, 2024: Forsyth, MO 65653 The Licking Wildcats basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Forsyth Panthers to 34 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. James for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. Licking will battle a Tigers team coming off a 64-30 non-league loss to Fair Grove (Fair Grove, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 11-5.
The Panthers (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Sparta (Sparta, MO). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Sparta prevailed over Hartville (Hartville, MO), 40-27, in a league contest.
