Missouri High School Basketball - Hillsboro edges Freeburg
January 27, 2024: Hillsboro, MO 63050 The Hillsboro Hawks (Hillsboro, MO) basketball nipped the visiting Freeburg Midgets (Freeburg, IL), 49-43 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Hawks (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Seckman (Imperial, MO). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Seckman got by Meadow Heights (Patton, MO), 62-29, in a non-league test.
The Midgets now own a 15-10 record. They play next when they travel to Columbia for a Cahokia - Mississippi test on Monday, January 29. Freeburg will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 37-32 league loss to Salem (Salem, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 13-11.
