Ohio High School Basketball - Wellington School overwhelms Lake Ridge Academy

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wellington School Jaguars (Columbus, OH) and the host Lake Ridge Academy Royals (North Ridgeville, OH), saw Wellington School's basketball squad wallop Lake Ridge Academy by a tally of 62-9.

With the victory, Wellington School improves its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Grove City Christian (Grove City, OH) to confront the Eagles in a Mid-State - Cardinal challenge on Monday, January 29. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Grove City Christian won 48-26 in their recent league challenge against Berne Union (Sugar Grove, OH)

Next up, the Royals confront the First Baptist Christian Sabres (Elyria, OH) in a Lake Effect challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Lake Ridge Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Sabres come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 35-29 non-league loss to Temple Christian (Mansfield, OH).
