January 27, 2024: Topeka, KS Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool Nighthawks (Topeka, KS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Perry-Lecompton Kaws (Perry, KS), 38-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to Abilene (Abilene, KS) to play the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 0-13. Abilene lost 49-33 in their recent non-league bout against Wamego (Wamego, KS)
Next up, the Kaws play the Jefferson West Tigers (Meriden, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Perry-Lecompton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 48-42 non-league win over Lansing (Lansing, KS).
