Virginia High School Basketball - Petersburg knocked off by Tabb
January 27, 2024: Petersburg, VA 23805 The Tabb Tigers basketball team scored 35 points and held the host Petersburg Crimson Wave to 23 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to York for a Bay Rivers contest on Monday, January 29. Tabb will meet a Falcons team coming off a 71-18 league loss to Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-12.
The Crimson Wave (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA). The Warriors enter the Central contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Matoaca ran past Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA), 50-24, in a league contest.
