South Carolina High School Basketball - Porter-Gaud overwhelms Wilson Hall
January 27, 2024: Charleston, SC 29407 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) and the visiting Wilson Hall Barons (Sumter, SC), saw Porter-Gaud's basketball squad wallop Wilson Hall by a tally of 56-24.
With the victory, Porter-Gaud improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Pinewood Prep (Summerville, SC) to play the Panthers in a SCISA AAAA Region III challenge on Friday, February 2. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-17.
Next up, the Barons play the Cardinal Newman Cardinals (Columbia, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. Wilson Hall will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record.
