January 27, 2024: Waurika, OK 73573 Waurika Eagles (Waurika, OK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ryan Cowboys (Ryan, OK), 44-41 in a league bout.
With the win, Waurika upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Eagles host Central (Marlow, OK) to play the Bronchos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Bronchos go into the bout with a record of 5-13.
Next up, the Cowboys play the Bray-Doyle Donkeys (Bray, OK) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Ryan will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record. The Donkeys go into the bout with a 1-15 record after their 52-20 non-league loss to Thackerville (Thackerville, OK).
