The Sanford Mustangs routed the visiting South Park Burros basketball team by a final score of 42-7 in Saturday's league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Trinidad Miners (Trinidad, CO) in a 3A/2A Southern Peaks game, on Saturday, February 3. Sanford will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record.

With the defeat, South Park moves to 4-6 on the year. The Burros host Clear Creek (Evergreen, CO) to face the Golddiggers in a non-league game on Monday, January 29.
