January 27, 2024: Bernalillo, NM 87004 The Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) basketball knocked off the visiting Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM), 36-23 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Albuquerque Academy notched a victory over Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM), 51-25, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Gallup for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 30. Aztec will encounter a Bengals squad coming off a 55-0 non-league win over Belen (Belen, NM). The Bengals record now stands at 2-0.
