January 27, 2024: Sunbury, OH 43074 The Big Walnut Golden Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Bishop Watterson Eagles to 50 in the Golden Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 15-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marion Harding for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. Big Walnut will battle a Presidents team coming off a 57-54 non-league win over River Valley (Caledonia, OH). The Presidents record now stands at 2-1.
The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfield Union (Lancaster, OH). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.
