New Underwood Tigers (New Underwood, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Harding County Ranchers (Buffalo, SD), 49-41 in a league bout.

With the win, New Underwood upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Jones County (Murdo, SD) to play the Coyotes in a bout on Friday, February 23. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 4-11.
