Oklahoma High School Basketball - Broken Bow holds off McAlester
January 27, 2025: Broken Bow, OK 74728 The Broken Bow Savages basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting McAlester Buffaloes to 72 in the Savages non-league triumph on Monday.
The Savages now have a 13-5 record. They play next when they host Pocola for a non-league game on Friday, January 31. Broken Bow will confront a Indians team coming off a 71-60 league win over Heavener (Heavener, OK). The Indians record now stands at 14-5.
With the loss, McAlester falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Ada (Ada, OK) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 11-6. Ada lost 83-56 in their recent league game against Mount St. Mary (Oklahoma City, OK)
