Iowa High School Basketball - Pella holds off Des Moines North
January 27, 2025: Des Moines, IA 50313 In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Pella Dutch basketball team scored a close 61-57 triumph over the Des Moines North Polar Bears.
The Dutch (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Newton (Newton, IA). The Cardinals go into the Little Hawkeye contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Newton was tipped by Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA), 76-47, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Polar Bears confront the Hoover Huskies (Des Moines, IA) in a Freelance contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Des Moines North will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Huskies go into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 49-46 non-league win over Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA).
