With the victory, Highland Springs upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Springers host Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA) to face the Raiders in a Capital match on Tuesday, January 28. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 13-1. Atlee won 78-44 in their recent non-league match against Prince George (Prince George, VA)
The Mavericks now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Godwin for a Colonial match on Wednesday, January 29. Freeman will face a Eagles squad coming off a 57-47 league win over Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-5.
