Kentucky High School Basketball - Nicholas County sneaks past Lexington Christian
January 27, 2025: Carlisle, KY 40311 The Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) basketball edged the visiting Lexington Christian Eagles (Lexington, KY), 77-73 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Bluejackets now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Harrison County for a District 38 bout on Tuesday, January 28. Nicholas County will play a Thorobreds team coming off a 69-36 non-league loss to Campbell County (Alexandria, KY). The Thorobreds record now stands at 3-10.
With the loss, Lexington Christian falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Eagles host Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY) to play the Bluebirds in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Bluebirds go into the bout with a record of 12-5. Highlands won 78-66 in their recent league bout against Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY)
