Maine High School Basketball - Monmouth Academy crushes Richmond
January 27, 2025: Monmouth, ME 04259 The Monmouth Academy Mustangs (Monmouth, ME) basketball crushed the visiting Richmond Bobcats (Richmond, ME), 83-38 in Monday's league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Maranacook for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30. Monmouth Academy will play a Black Bears team coming off a 70-55 non-league loss to Mount Abram (Strong, ME). The Black Bears record now stands at 8-7.
With the loss, Richmond falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Pine Tree Academy (Freeport, ME) to play the Breakers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Breakers go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Pine Tree Academy lost 55-34 in their recent non-league bout against Newbury Park Adventist (Newbury Park, CA)
