January 27, 2025: Erdenheim, PA 19038 The Springfield Township Spartans (Erdenheim, PA) basketball edged the visiting Morrisville Bulldogs (Morrisville, PA), 54-52 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they host William Tennent for a Suburban One - American bout on Tuesday, January 28. Springfield Township will play a Panthers team coming off a 56-39 non-league win over George Washington (Philadelphia, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 7-7.
With the loss, Morrisville falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Renaissance Academy (Phoenixville, PA) to play the Knights in a Bicentennial bout on Wednesday, January 29. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 4-11. Renaissance Academy won 43-37 in their recent league bout against Calvary Christian Academy (Philadelphia, PA)
