January 27, 2025: Winnetka, IL 60093 The New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) basketball edged the visiting Oak Park-River Forest Huskies (Oak Park, IL), 80-74 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Trevians now possess a 18-6 record. They play next when they host Evanston for a Central Suburban - South bout on Friday, January 31. New Trier will play a Wildkits team coming off a 61-58 non-league loss to Metamora (Metamora, IL). The Wildkits record now stands at 18-4.
With the loss, Oak Park-River Forest falls to 9-12 on the campaign. The Huskies host York (Elmhurst, IL) to play the Dukes in a non-league bout on Friday, January 31. The Dukes go into the bout with a record of 9-12. York won 49-40 in their recent non-league bout against Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL)
