Missouri High School Basketball - Trenton can't hold off Savannah
January 27, 2025: Savannah, MO 64485 Savannah Savages (Savannah, MO) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Trenton Bulldogs (Trenton, MO), 53-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Savannah upgrades its record to 7-9 on the year. The Savages travel to West Platte (Weston, MO) to face the Bluejays in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Bluejays enter the match with a record of 10-5. West Platte won 61-45 in their recent non-league match against North Andrew (Rosendale, MO)
The Bulldogs now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lathrop for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 29. Trenton will face a Mules squad coming off a 71-46 league loss to East Buchanan (Gower, MO). The Mules record now stands at 6-12.
