The Floyd Central Highlanders bounced the host Austin Eagles basketball squad by a final score of 58-29 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next, the Highlanders clash with the Providence Pioneers (Clarksville, IN) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, January 30. Floyd Central will attempt to upgrade on its 19-4 season record. The Pioneers enter the outing with a 7-12 record after their 48-38 non-league win over Shawe Memorial (Madison, IN).

The Eagles (18-3) will now prepare for their outing against Southwestern (Hanover, IN). The Rebels enter the non-league outing with a 14-7 record. In their last outing, Southwestern routed Rising Sun (Rising Sun, IN), 63-54, in a league outing.
