January 27, 2025: Washington, NC 27889 The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC) and the host Washington Pam Pack (Washington, NC), observed Ayden - Grifton's basketball team knock off Washington by a score of 51-35.
The Chargers (4-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Farmville Central (Farmville, NC). The Jaguars come into the 2A Eastern Plains challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, Farmville Central dropped by North Pitt (Bethel, NC), 44-33, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Pam Pack battle the West Craven Eagles (Vanceboro, NC) in a 2A Eastern Plains challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Washington will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record.
