Iowa High School Basketball - Waterloo Christian victorious over Columbus
January 27, 2025: Waterloo, IA 50701 In Monday's non-league contest, the host Waterloo Christian Regents basketball team scored a good 45-36 triumph over the Columbus Sailors.
The Regents (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Riceville (Riceville, IA). The Wildcats go into the Iowa Star contest with a 15-1 record. In their last contest, Riceville topped Clarksville (Clarksville, IA), 38-27, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Sailors battle the Denver Cyclones (Denver, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - East contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Columbus will attempt to better on its 2-14 season record. The Cyclones go into the contest with a 15-1 record after their 49-45 non-league loss to Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA).
