With the victory, Gorham Fayette upgrades its record to 10-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to Holgate (Holgate, OH) to face the Tigers in a Buckeye Border match on Thursday, January 30. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 4-15. Holgate won 38-33 in their recent non-league match against Edgerton (Edgerton, OH)
The Spartans now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson Christian for a Southern Central match on Friday, January 31. Waldron will face a Royals squad coming off a 26-20 non-league win over Calhoun Christian (Battle Creek, MI). The Royals record now stands at 7-5.
