Colorado High School Basketball - Thornton overwhelms Hinkley

The Thornton Trojans basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Hinkley Thunder to 18 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Trojans now possess a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Skyview for a 5A/4A Colorado game on Tuesday, January 28. Thornton will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 46-26 non-league win over Pueblo East (Pueblo, CO). The Wolverines record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Hinkley falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Regis Groff (Denver, CO) to confront the Fusion in a 6A/5A City game on Wednesday, January 29. The Fusion go into the game with a record of 7-6. Regis Groff won 45-17 in their recent league game against Montbello (Denver, CO)
