Missouri High School Basketball - Savannah overwhelms Penney
January 27, 2025: Hamilton, MO 64644 The Savannah Savages basketball team scored 77 points and limited the host Penney Hornets to 30 in the Savages non-league triumph on Monday.
The Savages now have a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lathrop for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Savannah will confront a Mules team coming off a 51-49 non-league win over South Harrison (Bethany, MO). The Mules record now stands at 17-2.
With the loss, Penney falls to 0-14 on the campaign. The Hornets host Gallatin (Gallatin, MO) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 29. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 7-8. Gallatin lost 50-45 in their recent league game against Trenton (Trenton, MO)
