The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Severn School Admirals (Severna Park, MD) and the visiting Springdale Prep Lions (New Windsor, MD), observed Severn School's basketball team knock off Springdale Prep by a score of 57-49.

The Admirals (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. John's Catholic Prep (Buckeystown, MD). The Vikings come into the IAAM B challenge with a 5-13 record. In their last challenge, St. John's Catholic Prep dropped by Mount de Sales Academy (Catonsville, MD), 51-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Saint James Saints (Hagerstown, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Springdale Prep will attempt to improve on its 17-14 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 59-58 non-league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, MD).
